This is the quick story for Expected and Unexpected behaviour.  (Scroll down to see the longer story.)

Things people do and say can be EXPECTED or UNEXPECTED. When people do things that are expected, it is familiar and it feels safe.

When people do things that are unexpected, it is surprising.

Some unexpected things make us feel good

and some unexpected things make us feel uncomfortable.

Watch this Mr. Bean video clip about making a sandwich.  He does some unexpected things!  Download this sorting activity to do when you have finished watching the video clip.
