Exit Ticket

Introduce the “exit ticket”. You may want to offer students a choice between a “whisper” ticket or a paper ticket. Hand out the paper tickets. Read the ticket together and discuss the correct answer as a group – this is meant to be a review and a quick check for understanding, not a test.

Students put their name on their paper ticket, check off the correct answer, and hand it in before leaving or moving onto the next subject. If they choose a “whisper ticket”, they can whisper the answer to the teacher. Exit ticket for lesson one:
